  • Custom fabricated electrical enclosures for research driven destructive testing

  • Conducted and organized all testing and switching.  Acted as lead safety coordinator on site and assisted with electrical measurements and test results collection

  • Tested DC Arc-Flash at 1500VDC

  • Varied electrode gap, current, and clearing times to record real life DC Arc-Flash values

  • Results from this testing were used to further DC Arc-Flash Analysis and better understand real life DC Arc-Flash Hazards for technicians

  • Varied electrode gap, current, and clearing times to record real life DC Arc-Flash values

  • Results from this testing were used to better understand real-life DC Arc-Flash values and for education purposes for the hosting utility

  • Results from testing were used to further DC Arc-Flash research and assist in better understanding real DC Arc-Flash values
